Andri Björn Birgisson

Andri has had a keen interest in film making since the age of fourteen. His first projects were usually shot, cut and shown on a borrowed VHS camera during the course of a few days.

Since then, Andri has attended the Icelandic Film School, focusing on directing and writing while also working on editing and sound engineering, and RADE (Reykjavík Academy of Digital Arts). At RADE, Andri developed an interest for compositing and digital matte painting.

While juggling the aspects of general film making and the more technical side of the industry, Andri designs album covers, posters and more for bands and music events while also playing guitar for his band, Auðn.
